Our Accreditation

West Seneca Christian School has established a reputation in our community and across our state since its founding in 1974 as a school producing strong Christian leaders who are well prepared for wherever God’s leads them.  Students are routinely admitted to their first choice of colleges and have demonstrated success in colleges and universities as well as professional programs, workplaces, and the military.

The process of accreditation brings in outside observers to evaluate the program here at WSCS to ensure that we are providing the education we promise.

New York Association of Christian Schools

The New York Association of Christian Schools is a statewide association comprised of fundamental Christian church schools, unregistered with the state of New York.

West Seneca Christian School is fully accredited through NYACS.  Our accreditation was recently renewed with an on-site visit in 2021.  NYACS is recognized by the New York State Department of Education as an accreditating agency in New York.

West Seneca Christian School is not registered with the New York State Department of Education.  As an unregistered school, WSCS cannot issue Regents tests or diplomas.  Existing as an unregistered school, however, allows our school the religious freedom to teach from a Christian worldview with no interference from New York State.

West Seneca Christian School has been determined to be substantially equivalent by the West Seneca Central School District.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions about our accreditation, registration, or substantial equivalency.
