Christian Tradition
As a ministry of First Baptist of West Seneca, the senior pastor is the school’s Superintendent with the particulars of administration carried out by the School Administrator. A six-member school committee formulates school policies in collaboration with the administrative and pastoral staff.
Since its founding in 1974, West Seneca Christian School (WSCS) has been dedicated to the whole child’s heart, mind, body and soul. Teachers on both the elementary and secondary levels present a strong academic curriculum with a God-centered worldview. While academics are of utmost importance, the faculty and staff remain dedicated to reaching the child’s heart through daily character building activities based on Biblical principles. Bible classes, chapels, extracurricular activities and interaction with students during the school day provide opportunities for teachers to influence students for Christ. Our traditional small classroom setting helps us to provide individualized attention and security to encourage educational achievement. WSCS is committed to continuing a strong Christian tradition here in Western New York.
The school has a large educational wing of 14 classrooms, a library, school offices and the use of several other rooms in the adjoining church building. Included are an art room, computer lab, auditorium and cafeteria. A recently renovated gymnasium provides opportunities for physical education and interscholastic sport programs.
